Hütter wants Hasebe to extend his stay

Makoto Hasebe’s current contract with Eintracht Frankfurt expires at the end of this season but Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter is hopeful that the Japanese will extend his stay at the club for at least another season.

The 37-year-old Frankfurt captain will be out of contract at the end of this season.

"If you're 37 and still playing three games a week at the number six position, you can hang on for another season,"

recently said himself that he could imagine staying for another season, admitting:

"Yes, I would like to continue playing for this Eintracht side. We will talk about it in the coming weeks."
