Capable of playing as a striker, as a winger, as a supporting forward, or as an attacking midfielder, most of his fame is due to his vision, creativity, movement and passing ability, which enable him to exploit space and provide assists for teammates as well as score goals himself.

In Manchester City, Tevez often performed a goal celebration dance where he puts his hands together, bends down and rocks his body; this dance has been named after him as the "Tevez Dance".

He joined Manchester City in 1990 on a £ 800,000 contract and remained with the team until the end of the 1995-96 season.

One of the most exciting moments of his time at Manchester City was the derby against Manchester United on April 20, 1991. He was really the man of the match!

In this game he scored early on and saved a penalty as City beat Derby County 2–1, relegating Derby in the process. City goalkeeper Tony Coton had been sent off before half time for fouling Dean Saunders to concede the penalty. At this time teams rarely named goalkeepers as substitutes, so Quinn replaced Coton in goal.

Rodney Marsh is another player of our list of best forwards in Manchester City history in our opinion.

In March 1972, he joined Manchester City with a then-club record £200,000 contract. At the time of signing, the team was at the top of the table, but they ended up in fourth place. According to many fans, one of the main reasons for this poor performance was that Marsh's style of play was not suitable for Manchester City.

In the following seasons, Marsh was finally able to attract the attention and interest of the fans with a combination of skill and scoring. He was part of the team that reached the League Cup final in 1974.

"Marsh later agreed with critics in his autobiography in 2001, saying he regretted moving to Manchester City and he felt he let the supporters down:" Right, no beating about the bush, I have to hold my hands up – I cost Manchester City the 1972 league championship".

However, there is no doubt that he was one of the best strikers of his generation and his honors with Manchester City are one FA Charity Shield, and one League Cup runner-up.
