Everton Confirms Dele Alli's Stay Beyond Contract Expiry

Club Ensures Player's Rehabilitation Unaffected by Contract Uncertainty

Everton

has officially announced that despite Dele Alli's contract expiring in June, the former England international will remain with the club. Currently recovering from a groin injury, Dele will continue his rehabilitation at Everton to ensure that his recovery is not hindered by his contract situation. Director of football Kevin Thelwell emphasized the club's commitment to supporting Dele during his intensive rehabilitation program following a recent operation.

Dele, who has been sidelined for the entire current season due to setbacks in his recovery, underwent surgery earlier this year for a groin issue that originally occurred while he was playing for Besiktas. Everton's manager, Sean Dyche, has expressed optimism about Dele's future at Goodison Park, prioritizing his return to the pitch and enjoyment of the game.

Looking forward, Dele aims to regain fitness and return to playing at a high level in the future, with Everton likely to evaluate his situation once he completes his recovery.
