Amr Warda’s journey: The story of contract terminations and club changes

From PAOK to Raja Casablanca: An Egyptian player’s journey in the maze of transfers and settlements in the world of football

PAOK Football Club, on a Friday of this week, announced the decision to mutually terminate the contract of the Egyptian player Amr Warda. The club’s management, through a statement published on their official Facebook page, confirmed that Warda joined the team last January and delivered an outstanding performance during the 17 matches he participated in, where he succeeded in scoring 5 goals and provided 3 decisive passes in the context of the Greek league.

The statement issued by the Greek club concluded by thanking Warda for his active contribution to the team, wishing him success in his upcoming professional career.

This mutual termination is the fifth in Warda’s career during the current 2023-2024 season, where he joined Raja Casablanca at the beginning of the season and his contract was terminated in August of last year.

Just a few hours before that, Warda signed a contract with Doxa Katokopias FC before it was terminated, then the incident repeated after he joined Esteghlal FC, where his contract was terminated in just a few days.

After a short stint with Pharco FC in the Egyptian league, Warda returned to play in the Greek league, but he left after a short period, as he continued with the team for only four months.
