The Bat’s Symphony: A Killer Win Asserts Valencia’s Dominance

A tough victory over Osasuna leaves the mark of Almeida and Mamardashvili

As part of their ongoing series of victories, Valencia team achieved a new win in the Spanish First Division League, where it succeeded in winning away from home against Osasuna club with a score of (1-0) in the match that was held on Monday at the El Sadar Stadium, within the competitions of the thirty-first round of the Spanish League.

This victory was not just the fruit of the efforts of the brilliant Portuguese midfielder, Andre Almeida, who scored the winning goal in the eighteenth minute of the match, but it was also the result of the outstanding performance of the Georgian goalkeeper, Giorgi Mamardashvili, who successfully saved a penalty in the extra time (minute 90+8), executed by the Croatian player, Ante Budimir.

With this victory, which is the second in a row, and the 13th win in the Spanish League this season, Valencia’s points rose to 47 points, where it occupies the seventh place in the standings, and is three points away from the sixth place occupied by Real Sociedad, which guarantees its participation in the European Conference League.

On the other hand, Osasuna team suffered from its third defeat in the last five matches, which made their loss number 14 in the Spanish League this season, where their balance froze at 39 points, in the 11th place, with a goal difference behind both Getafe and Villarreal.
