A Spectacular Show at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea crushes Everton with six goals in a stunning display from the Blues.

Chelsea managed to achieve a resounding victory over its guest Everton with six clean goals, during the match that took place today, Monday, within the framework of the thirty-third round of the English Premier League.

This great victory undermined Everton’s ambitions and constituted a strong boost for Chelsea towards achieving an advanced place in the standings, where their balance rose to 47 points in the ninth place, lagging only 3 points behind the places qualifying for participation in the European championships, which are currently occupied by Newcastle and Manchester United in the sixth and seventh places respectively.

According to the “Squawka” statistics network, this victory made Chelsea achieve a victory with six goals or more at Stamford Bridge for the ninth time in its history in the English Premier League.

The London team had previously achieved great victories on its ground in previous matches, where it won with a score of (6-0) against Manchester City in 2007, and against West Bromwich in 2010, as well as against Arsenal in 2014.

But the biggest victory for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is the one achieved at the expense of Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa with a score of (8-0) in 2010 and 2012 respectively.

The match also witnessed the brilliance of the young full-back Alfie Gilchrist, who scored a goal for Chelsea, which is his first with the team’s shirt at the age of about 20 years.

While the struggle intensifies for the Golden Boot award, which is given to the top scorer of the English Premier League, Koller Palmer, Chelsea’s winger, shone, who scored a “super hat-trick” in Everton’s net during this match, to raise his balance to 20 goals, which made him top the list of scorers.

Thus, Palmer equals the Norwegian Erling Haaland, Manchester City striker, who scored a goal this week, while Ollie Watkins, Aston Villa player, ranks second with 19 goals, after scoring a goal in the match that brought his team against Arsenal.

Swedish Alexander Isak equals Egyptian Mohamed Salah in the third place with 17 goals, after each of them scored a double in his last round in the league.
