The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee’s investigation into Ronaldo’s case

Predictions of suspending the Portuguese star for two matches and fining him due to his controversial behavior in the Saudi League

The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation continues to investigate the complaint submitted by the administration of Al-Shabab Club against the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nassr team.

Ronaldo behaved in an unethical manner in front of Al-Shabab fans during the match that brought the two teams together in the Saudi Professional League, where the match ended with Al-Nassr winning three goals to two. As a result of this behavior, the administration of Al-Shabab Club submitted an official complaint to the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation.

According to what was reported by the Saudi newspaper “Al-Riyadiyah”, Ronaldo confirmed his respect for all clubs, indicating that the movement he made after the celebration expresses strength and victory, and that it is not offensive and is considered normal in Europe.

Saudi press sources indicate that the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee intends to suspend Cristiano for two matches, in addition to imposing a fine on him due to his behavior that does not conform to the sports spirit. This comes as a culmination of the second incident for the player within a short period, where he behaved improperly during his team’s match against Al-Hilal in the Riyadh Season Cup, in response to the leader’s fans who threw the blue club’s scarves at him as he left the field.

Ronaldo tops the scoring table of the Saudi Professional League with a balance of 22 goals, with a difference of 3 goals from Mitrovic, Al-Hilal striker.
