Croatian Coach’s Reaction to Pyramids’ Defeat Against Mazembe

In the estimation of the Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurcic, the technical director of the Egyptian Pyramids team, what happened in the match that brought his team together with the Congolese Mazembe can only be described as a “disgrace” to African football.

Jurcic expressed his great satisfaction with the performance of his players in most periods of the match, stating: “We are a strong team that has great capabilities, and we have championships that we must compete in. We must forget what happened and focus on the future.”
The Croatian coach praised the performance of the Congolese striker Fiston Mayele, describing him as a young player with ambition, optimistic about a bright future for him.
