Announcement of Belingham's Shoes in Collaboration with Adidas

Bellingham appeared in a commercial promoting the new line of Adidas shoes, the 30th edition of the model that gained fame through football legends like David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Steven Gerrard. In this two-minute clip, the midfielder is shown snatching the shoe from a secret lab.

Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold have been promoting the shoes since the end of 2023 when the Liverpool star first appeared in a limited edition of the model in November during his team's 1-1 draw with Manchester City. Since then, a lucrative deal has been signed with Adidas.

Sam Handy from Adidas mentioned in an interview with The Sun that they work very closely with an incredible group of professional players who provide feedback on initial models for testing and adjustments. He added, "We worked closely with Bellingham on the development of this Predator shoe, and we listened to his initial reactions when he got the shoe. He has been an integral part of our development of the shoe from a performance perspective."

The new shoes also feature the return of the folded tongue, and Handy happily explained the reason behind it. He stated, "It's a highly distinctive detail and works to provide control over the ball. Professional players from Generation Z demand the use of the tongue for performance reasons, and the nostalgia for the past made it very hard to resist the Predator 24 allure."

Bellingham is scheduled to participate in the match against Los Blancos with Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey on Thursday. Meanwhile, the new Adidas shoes have officially become available and are likely to sell out quickly.
