Real Madrid Joins Race to Sign Rising Star from Reading FC

Real Madrid has entered the race to sign the 18-year-old star from Reading FC, who has been impressing in his debut season. Arsenal has also joined the list of interested clubs, closely monitoring the young talent's progress, as reported by The Sun.

In his inaugural season with the first-team squad, the attacking midfielder has become a key member of Reading FC, featuring in 19 matches across various competitions. He has showcased his skills by scoring four goals and providing an equal number of assists.

 

Premier League giants Arsenal have been tracking the youngster since he faced their U21 side in November. Other clubs, including Leicester City, Celtic, and Norwich, have also sent their scouts to monitor the player's performances at Reading FC.

 

Reading, facing financial constraints, is expected to demand a transfer fee in the range of £1 million. The deal might include a clause allowing them to receive a percentage of any future sales of the player.

 

Real Madrid, under the management of club legend Raúl, plans to integrate the young talent into their reserve team initially. Once satisfied with his progress, they intend to promote him to the first team. The upcoming match for the player with Reading in the Championship is set against Oxford United on Tuesday.
