Ancelotti Between Real Madrid and Brazil National Team: Speculations and Silence
Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, currently managing Real Madrid, continues to stir controversy in the international media.
His contract with the Spanish club expires in the summer of 2024, and multiple reports suggest his name is linked to coaching the Brazil national team after the current season concludes.
According to reports from "The Athletic," indications suggest that the Brazilian Football Confederation has "legal guarantees" that Ancelotti will take on the responsibility of coaching the Brazilian national team in 2024. However, reliable sources have confirmed the existence of a written agreement between the Brazilian Football Confederation and the Italian coach, although it is not binding for either party.
The newspaper reached out to the Brazilian Football Confederation, which refrained from commenting on its intentions regarding Ancelotti, expressing respect for Real Madrid. However, they indicated an intention to address this matter starting from January of the next year.
Brazilian Football Confederation President Ednaldo Rodrigues avoided answering questions about Ancelotti taking over the national team, opting to smile during an event in Rio de Janeiro without responding to inquiries. It is noted that Carlo Ancelotti affirmed today that "only the crazy ones think about leaving Real Madrid."
