Al-Ittihad Jeddah Aims to Sign Mohamed Salah

Julian Ward, the targeted sports director, aims to secure the deal and leverage his influence in Al-Ittihad Jeddah's efforts.

Currently, Saudi club Al-Ittihad Jeddah remains determined to continue its efforts to benefit from the experience and skills of the outstanding Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, after failing in their previous attempts to sign him from Liverpool in the recent summer transfer window.

Mohamed Salah has a contract with Liverpool until June 2025, and Al-Ittihad Jeddah wishes to repeat its endeavors to attract the 31-year-old player.

According to reports from the British newspaper "Daily Mail," Al-Ittihad Jeddah seeks to negotiate with Julian Ward, who previously held the position of sports director at Liverpool. Ward left the club last summer in an attempt to sign the Egyptian player.

Ward had a significant impact on the transfer deal for Alex McCarthy during the last summer season. Despite that, he left his position shortly after Michael Edwards took over the responsibility.

Al-Ittihad Jeddah looks forward to capitalizing on Ward's experience and sports skills to acquire the Egyptian star during the upcoming summer transfer window.

It is worth noting that Salah has scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists in 18 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool in the current season.
