Match Schedule Adjustments for Al-Ahly Club

New decisions from CAF and the Egyptian Competitions Committee impact Al-Ahly's schedule in the African Champions League and the Premier League.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has decided to adjust the match date between Egypt's Al-Ahly and Algeria's JS Kabylie, according to a source within Al-Ahly reported by Kooora. The source confirmed that CAF has rescheduled the match to take place on December 8th, at 9:00 PM.

Currently, Al-Ahly is preparing to face Young Africans of Tanzania in the second round of the group stage of the African Champions League, scheduled for next Saturday.

These adjustments follow Al-Ahly's successful start in the group stage, securing a 3-0 victory against Ghana's Medeama in the first round. This match marked a promising beginning for the Red Team's journey to defend their title in the tournament.

On the other hand, Al-Ahly's delegation is getting ready to travel to Tanzania on Thursday, led by Mohamed El-Damati, a member of the board. This comes after the Swiss head coach, Marcel Koller, granted his players a break from training today.

In a related context, the Egyptian Competitions Committee has decided to postpone the match between Zamalek SC and Al-Ahly, initially scheduled for December 6th in the eighth round of the Premier League. The new date for the match will be determined later.
