Riyadh Derby Between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr in Round 15

Intense confrontations ignite the stadium, carrying the rivalry between the top teams, and challenges for the Portuguese coaches leading the standings.

The 15th round of the Roshan League will begin tomorrow, Thursday, featuring three matches. The derby will be played at King Fahd International Stadium in the capital, Riyadh, witnessing the clash between the two giants, with Al-Hilal leading the table with 38 points, followed by Al-Nassr with 34 points.

This marks the first derby of the current season between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr after their meeting in the final of the Arab Championship (King Salman Cup) last summer, where "Al-Ahli" secured the title.

This encounter carries a revengeful and exciting character between the Portuguese coaches Luis Castro (for Al-Nassr) and Jorge Jesus (for Al-Hilal) within the framework of Saudi competitions.

Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr currently occupy the first and second positions, respectively, in the current league table. Al-Hilal leads with 12 victories, followed by Al-Nassr with 11 victories.

Al-Hilal stands out as it has not suffered any defeats so far, while Al-Nassr stumbled with two losses at the beginning of the competition but later embarked on a positive streak.

Al-Hilal has not dropped any points since the draw with Dhamk in the seventh round, and similarly, Al-Nassr has been unbeaten since the draw with Abha in the ninth round.

Round 15 kicks off tomorrow with two important matches, as Al-Ittihad Jeddah hosts Al-Khaleej in the team's third match under the leadership of the Argentine coach Marcelo Gallardo.

After a goalless draw with Al-Ittifaq, they secured a victory in the AFC Champions League away against AGMK Uzbekistan with a 2-1 score.

Gallardo is expected to be tasked with improving the team's performance, especially in defensive organization, which was unconvincing against AGMK, considering the limited time before the start of the Club World Cup on December 12.

Al-Ittihad could regain strength after the absence of Romarinho and Kante in the AGMK match due to injury. The team currently holds the sixth position with 24 points, and its fans are hopeful for an improvement in the team's performance before the start of the Club World Cup.
