Pyramids FC staged a comeback, overturning their deficit to secure a 2-1 victory against Ismaily on Tuesday evening at the Cairo International Stadium during the seventh round of the Egyptian Premier League.

In the early minutes of the match, Ismaily took the lead with a goal scored by Togolese player Yao Anour in the 12th minute. However, Abdallah El-Said, the captain of Pyramids, managed to level the score with a penalty in the 66th minute.

In the dying moments of the game, South African player Thembinkosi Lorch netted the winning goal for Pyramids in the 86th minute.

The match witnessed two red cards, with Mohamed Hashem of Ismaily being sent off in the 40th minute, and the Burkinabé player Platini Théodore Turé from Pyramids receiving a red card in the 90th minute.

With this victory, Pyramids FC, led by their Portuguese coach Jaime Pacheco, raised their points to 16, securing the top spot in the overall standings. Meanwhile, Ismaily, under the management of coach Ehab Galal, remains at 4 points, occupying the fourteenth position.
