Sadiqi Dabashi Prepares for Departure: Interest from Moroccan Renaissance and Saudi Kokhba in the Winter Transfer Window

Sadiqi Dabashi, the 24-year-old goalkeeper playing for Tunisia's Club Africain, is gearing up for a potential departure during the upcoming winter transfer window, as clubs from the Saudi and Moroccan leagues have expressed interest.

Tunisian radio station "Mosaïque" reported today, Thursday, that Club Africain's goalkeeper, Sadiqi Dabashi, has caught the attention of Morocco's Renaissance Club in the Moroccan league and Kokhba Club in the Saudi First Division.

Dabashi had renewed his contract with Club Africain last year, extending it for five years until June 2027.

The management of Club Africain has given the green light for Dabashi to resume training, following a decision by coach Tarek Thabet, who allowed the goalkeeper to return after a previous suspension due to a dispute with goalkeeping coach Wassem Nawara.

It's worth noting that the talented player, born in 1999 in the city of Gabes in southern Tunisia, has contributed significantly to the development of distinguished football players from the region, who have proven their importance with the "Carthage Eagles" (Tunisia's national football team).

Mohamed Sadiqi Dabashi began his football career with Club Sportif de la Future de Gabes, making his first appearance for the team in 2018 at the age of 19, specifically in a match against Club Africain in the Tunisian league.

He shone brightly in his debut season with the southern club, earning him a place in Tunisia's U-20 national team. The management of Club Africain noticed his impressive performances and signed him during the summer transfer window of 2019 in a deal costing only 45,000 euros.
