Potential Fulham Deal with André - CEO Heads to Brazil for Negotiations on £30 Million Transfer

Rumors circulate strongly about the potential transfer of Fluminense midfielder André to the English Premier League during the January transfer window.

. Both Manchester United and Liverpool have shown significant interest in the 22-year-old player. However, Fulham has outpaced the English giants in the race to sign André, according to reports from "Evening Standard." Fulham's club president, Alistair MacIntosh, traveled to Brazil last week for talks regarding a deal valued at £30 million (37 million dollars).

If André's transfer to Fulham goes through, it would be a significant victory for the team. Manchester United targeted the young player as a potential replacement for Casemiro, who faced challenges in his performance in his second season at Old Trafford. On the other hand, Liverpool reached out to Fluminense to acquire the midfielder in the summer, informing André that he would stay until the end of the year, but the club was open to discussing a potential move "in December."

It's worth noting that André was part of the Fluminense team that won the Copa Libertadores for the first time in the club's history, defeating Boca Juniors 2-1 in October. Following this victory, the Brazilian team will participate in the Club World Cup in December alongside the UEFA Champions League winners Manchester City.

The Brazilian season is expected to conclude in early December, and it is anticipated that André will seek to complete his move to the English Premier League afterward. Fulham has reportedly presented a new offer to extend Silva's contract for three years, after rejecting offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, and is expected to have their support in the transfer market.
