David De Gea supports Bruno Fernandes after his killer goal
David De Gea expressed his full support for Bruno Fernandes after his fantastic win against Fulham after a long time.
De Gea did not hesitate to express his sarcasm about the claims that doubt Fernandes’ ability to take over the captaincy of Manchester United, after he scored the winning goal in a match against Fulham. De Gea expressed his sarcasm humorously through his comment on Fernandes’ post on his Instagram account, where he wrote: “You are not the right captain.”
It seems that this comment was a humorous response to the previous statements of the legendary captain of Manchester United, Roy Keane, who considered that Fernandes should be stripped of the captaincy. Those statements came from Keane on Sky Sports channel after Fernandes’ disappointing performance in the match that ended with Manchester City’s 3-0 win at Old Trafford in the Premier League last Sunday.
De Gea is still free since leaving Manchester United in the summer. Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag’s team is heading towards an important match that they must win outside FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League.
