"Being top of the league now doesn’t really mean anything" says Postecoglou

Tottenham reached the top of the Premier League table with a win against Luton Town.

In the eighth week of the Premier League,

Tottenham

defeated Luton Town 1-0 and reached the top of the Premier League table. Van de Ven scored the only goal of the game for Tottenham. Tottenham played the second half with 10 men after Bissouma was sent off.

“Two different halves, I thought we played some great football in the first half. I thought it was as good as we’ve played and we probably should have been two or three up,”

Ange Postecoglou said after the game.

"It’s only October and being top of the league now doesn’t really mean anything tangible apart from the fact that we’ve started the season well."

Tottenham defeated Liverpool 2-1 last week. They will play against Fulham in their next Premier League game.

Tottenham have earned 20 points from eight games in the Premier League.
