has confirmed that Iraqi international player Zidane Iqbal is expected to leave this summer.

The 20-year-old Iqbal won widespread praise from the Red Devils fans thanks to his impressive performance with the club's youth teams.

However reports have emerged indicating that Iqbal is about to leave Old Trafford after accepting an offer from Dutch club

The Iraqi player, Iqbal, wrote through his official account on "Twitter": "Manchester United has been my home since I was five years old. I have many wonderful memories of the 15 years that I have been associated with this wonderful club. There are many people whom I have to thank."

He added, "The Academy is a special place that makes dreams come true for many. That was certainly the case for me; I will never forget standing on the touchline of the Theater of Dreams waiting to make my debut. That feeling of pride will stay with me forever."
