Le Normand: "I feel very happy in Spain"
Robin Le Normand will play for the Spanish national team.
Robin Le Normand, who was born in France and started his football career at Brest before joining
Real Sociedad. Though he was eligible to play for the French national team, he ultimately decided to play for the Spanish national team.
Le Normand talked to media about his decision to play for the Spanish national team:
"After eight years in Spain, growing up and training here with La Real. They have given me a lot and after this, receiving a call from the directors of the Federation and the coach, the decision is very easy."
Le Normand, who is included in the new squad of Luis de la Fuente, also talked about Didier Deschamps:
"Deschamps told me he was looking at me and valued me, but that didn’t change anything in my head. I thanked him for valuing me, that’s very good, but Spain was there for me from the first minute. I feel very happy in Spain"
Spain will play against Italy in their next match in the UEFA Nations League and Le Normand hopes to make his debut for La Roja in this match.
