"Arsenal have done fantastic work," says Lopetegui
Julen Lopetegui, claims second-place Arsenal should not be criticized.
Arsenal and
Wolverhamptonwill play their final game of the season in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal were leading the Premier League for a significant part of this season but failed to win the title as Manchester City were crowned as the champions. Lopetegui believes that criticizing Arsenal is not fair.
“It’s an incredible league and in the end they lost to Manchester City in one of the last matches,”
Julen Lopetegui said.
“They have done fantastic work – you only have to look at the teams that finished below them, incredible teams.
“So I praise Mikel for his fantastic work. I remember he had big problems when he arrived two years ago but they showed faith and belief in him and now they are collecting the rewards."
Wolverhampton is currently placed 13th in the Premier League.
