Manchester City snatched it's Real Madrid the opportunity to the final

Manchester City wins by four over Real Madrid

Manchester City

snatches from

Real Madrid

the opportunity to qualify for the final match of the European

Champions League

after defeating them 4-0  in the match that was held at the Etihad Stadium.

City managed to win after the brilliance of its Portuguese star

Bernardo Silva

who scored two goals in the 23rd and 37th minutes, before Real Madrid defender

Eder Militao

accidentally added the third goal into his own net (76), and substitute

Julia Alvarez

added the fourth (90 + 1).

Courtois

saved his goal from a goal in the 13th minute when he miraculously removed

Haaland's

header following a cross from City winger

Jack Grealish

.

The referee awarded a free kick in favor of City which De Bruyne executed against the expected goal but his ball passed by the near post in the 19th minute, and Courtois returned to shine in front of Halland when he flew to save the Norwegian striker's deceptive header in the 21st minute.

City finally managed to open the scoring in the 23rd minute when

De Bruyne

passed a cunning through ball to Bernardo Silva, who shot from inside the penalty area his ball settling in the Meringue net.

Real Madrid's first shot came in the 35th minute when

Toni Kroos

got the ball outside the penalty area and fired a powerful shot that shook the goalpost.

Two minutes later City managed to add the second goal when Real Madrid defender Eder Militao stood in front of

Gundogan

's shot and the ball reached Portuguese winger Silva, who headed it into the net scoring his second goal.

With the start of the second half Manchester City seemed more cautious in dealing with the course of the match at a time when Real Madrid wanted to control the ball with the aim of compensation, and the referee awarded a free kick to the royal team, which was executed by defender

David Alaba

over the wall, only to be brilliantly removed by Brazilian goalkeeper

Ederson

in the 51st minute.

Haaland wasted a new opportunity in the 73rd minute when he received a wonderful back ball from Gundogan to face Courtois who ably tackled his attempt.

Substitute Alvarez hammered the final nail in Real Madrid's coffin when he received the ball from the other substitute,

Phil Foden

to single out the goalkeeper and elegantly put it into the goal in the first minute of stoppage time.

It is noteworthy that the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium last Tuesday.

Manchester City will play the final match on June 10 against Italian club

Inter Milan

at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
