Agent rules out Mohamed Salah's Liverpool exit rumors
Enduring a difficult season at Liverpool, the Egyptian winger has been linked with a move from the club. However, his agent insists Salah is happy at Liverpool.
Earlier, a report on Foot Mercato emerged that linked Mohamed Salah with an exit from Liverpool and is eager to push for a new experience in Spain. Scoring 178 goals in 293 matches, the Egyptian helped the Reds to the Champions League and Premier League triumphs.
However, Salah's agent Ramy Abbas reacted to the rumors on Twitter, insisting his client will stay put at Liverpool.
"Where did you get this from if not even Mohamed and I discussed this? Please tell us," he quote-tweeted to the journalist of the report.
It's the second time Abbas reacts to his client's exit rumors. He told earlier on 27 February: “Nonsense. This was never discussed or thought about. Not qualifying to the Champions League hasn’t even crossed our minds.”
Liverpool will be back in action after the international break with a Premier League game against Manchester City. Before that, Salah will be a part of the Egypt squad for two matches against Malawi in the AFCON qualification round.
