Sarabia slams PSG locker room as a collection of 'individuals'

Wolves attacker Pablo Sarabia has had some harsh words to say about his former club PSG, calling the team a collection of individuals

Sarabia

commented on the culture at Paris Saint-Germain, stating that the team's star power had led to a lack of unity in the dressing room. Nevertheless, he emphasized that it was a privilege to play alongside Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe.

The former PSG man criticized the dressing room dynamic in an interview with The Telegraph, saying:

"It was amazing to play with Messi, Mbappe and Neymar and a very good experience, but for me the most crucial thing is to feel important in the team.

“I prefer to be at another team to feel that togetherness, to be part of it and be a member of the team and a family, rather than just a collection of individuals,"

he added.

Sarabia transferred to Wolves during the January transfer window for a fee of £4.4 million ($5.4m). He has started in six of the seven games played by Wolves since his arrival, helping the team move up to the 13th position after being stuck in the relegation zone in December 2022. In the 2022-23 season, Sarabia played 16 games in Ligue 1 for PSG and scored just one goal.
