Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has criticised Osasuna fans for abusing chants aimed at Vinicius Junior.

Vinicius Jr

scored twice in this match, but both goals were ruled out as offside and he once again received abuse from opponent supporters.

After the match, Courtois who recently asked for more protection for teammate Vinicius on and off the pitch, revealed the extent of Vinicius' abuse from Osasuna fans.

“There was a minute of silence and there is someone who says ‘son of a b****’. It is regrettable. They sang ‘Vinicius die’, and it’s unfortunate. Football should be a nice and cheering hobby, but without saying that nonsense.”

he said, as per Sport.

Real Madrid now is five points behind Barcelona in La Liga, but Xavi’s side has a game in hand. Carlo Ancelotti will face Liverpool in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 round on Tuesday at Anfield.

Real was without Benzema, Kroos, and Tchouameni against Osasuna, and remains to be seen whether they will be fit for the game against Liverpool.
