Valencia great Ruben Boraja returns to rescue them from relegation

However, he was fired alongside sporting director Mateu Alemany for criticizing the club's unpopular owner Peter Lim. Baraja will be the fifth head coach since Marcelino's exit.
Boraja helped the club win La Liga in 2001-02 and 2003-04, a UEFA Cup in 2003-04, and the Copa del Rey in 2007-08 before retiring in 2010.
