Barcelona then moved their attention toward Santos' striker,

Angelo Gabriel

However, according to

, the Catalan giants are set to miss on Gabriel as Milan is ready to offer €20m to Santos, a sum Barcelona is unlikely to match this window.

Barcelona drew with Espanyol 1-1 on their return to action in La Liga in a match that had a player sent off from each team. Despite having Lewandowski back up front, Barca failed to capitalize on their chance to top La Liga with 2 points clear off of Real Madrid
