Mbappe reveals why he came back to PSG training so quickly after the World Cup final

PSG and Mbappe were back in action last night, with the French World Cup hero scoring the winner for his club once again.

Many were shocked as

Kylian Mbappe

returned so swiftly to PSG’s training after France’s World Cup final loss as it only took him three days off. But the 23-year-old has now tried to explain the situation and his reasons for his quick return.

"I’ll never digest it (the World Cup final defeat). But like I told my coach and team-mates, there’s no reason that my club should pay for a defeat with my national team, it’s two different situations.”

Mbappe said.

Maquinhos scored the game’s both goals as Strasbourg faced PSG on Wednesday, scoing for PSG in the 14th minute before scoring an own goal in the second half. But it was Mbappe who saved PSG once again with a last-minute penalty kick winner.

His outstanding final display at the World Cup was one for the history book as he became only the second player in history to score a hat-trick in the World Cup final but for now he must turn his attention to

PSG

as they try to shoot for European glory.
