Galtier deems Mbappe’s speedy return to PSG training a “strong signal”

Kylian Mbappe has returned to PSG camp only three days after the World Cup loss.

PSG boss Cristophe Galtier thinks that

Kylian Mbappe

’s swift return to PSG training only three days after the World Cup final loss sends a “strong signal”.

Mbappe became only the second player in history to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final but even his majestic display at Lusail Stadium wasn’t enough to deter Messi and co. in winning the World Cup on penalties after the extra time ended 3-3.

The PSG star has now returned to full training with PSG only three days after the final which has prompted manager Galtier to comment on the fact.

"I'm very happy to see him,"

Galtier told the club outet, PSG TV.

"Kylian had a great World Cup. This return is also a strong signal to everyone.

"A player who may have been disappointed not to lift the most beautiful of trophies, even if he was top scorer at this World Cup [with eight goals].

"He wanted to get back in contact with the group very quickly and prepare for the deadlines which are coming up very quickly. We are very, very happy to see him."

PSG

will next face Strasbourg on December 28.
