Turner identifies teammate Saka as a major threat to USA
Arsenal goalie Matt Turner has identified “young star” as a threat to USA’s dreams in the World Cup
Bukayo Saka has been dominating the news headlines since last year as the Arsenal youngster has proven himself time and time again. Saka’s most recent triumph has been a brace against Iran, which has led to USA goalkeeper and Arsenal teammate naming the young star as a threat to the American Dream in the World Cup.
"I think it's pretty clear - he's one of the young stars of world football,
" Turner said of Saka ahead of Friday’s match.
"He's a top, top player and I think you don't need me to tell anybody on our team how much of a threat that he poses in the game.
"He's scoring goals in a variety of ways. He's really developed and mature.
"He's gotten stronger from what I understand. I've only worked with him for a few months.
"I'm looking forward to playing against familiar faces. He's a really, really good player who can change any game that he takes part in."
Saka became the youngest player ever to score a brace for England with 21 years and 77 days. If the Arsenal winger manages to score against
USAhe will become the only player under the age of 21 to have done so for
Englandin a major tournament.
