Allegri told

“Every season is different, even every week is different. One week we are treated like Scudetto winners, the other we won’t be in the top four.
“Verona are a team that run hard, press all over the pitch, are coming off some negative results, so this is a big test. We need to play with the right attitude for this particular match.”
“We must focus on ourselves, one step at a time and getting some sense of consistency, so it’s important to leave Verona this evening with a positive result.”
On his side’s injury crisis,

“It’s about fitness levels. Di Maria can only play half an hour, Paredes has been out for a while, the game can last up to 100 minutes, so substitutions will be important, just as they were against Inter in the closing stages.”
