Hamsik admits to missing everything about Napoli hailing Spalletti

After serving the Partenopei for more than 12 years, the Slovakian midfielder joined the Chinese club Dalian in 2019. The Serie A club's record appearance holder reflects on Napoli's new season.

“I miss everything about Napoli. It’s a mixture of beautiful things: the people, the sea, the food…. Some new players, during the first days, were scared of the city, only to fall in love with it.”

On Luciano Spalletti’s achievements this season, Hamsik added:

“The team is doing excellent things. They started well like last year, but this time I see them more convinced.

“Khvicha Kvaratskhelia? I must admit, I hardly knew him myself at first, but he actually has extraordinary numbers.”

“I remember that when he came to Napoli he was a bit overweight, but he soon recovered. Edinson Cavani was a crazy professional, he trained more than the others and alone, when he lost he went crazy.”
