Martial and Rashford likely to miss United vs City
The Red Devils might miss the services of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford for the battle against Manchester City on Sunday.

was not part of
Manchester United’s previous five games due to an Achilles problem.
Marcus Rashford
, on the other hand, has been dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out for three weeks. Many were hoping that they would recover in the international break and return to training, but as per reports from The Times, neither of them has come back to training yet.
Therefore, both of the players will most likely miss the derby against
Manchester Cityand Erik ten Hag might be forced to use the same lineup he used for the battle against Sheriff in the Europa League. Cristiano Ronaldo met the back of the net for the first time this season from the penalty spot, but his recent performances for Portugal have attracted a lot of criticism. Anthony Elanga and Alejandro Garnacho will be available for the clash on the bench. However, Harry Maguire might not be available as he didn’t train with Manchester United on Wednesday due to a thigh injury he sustained in the international break.
He will miss out on the battle against City, but even if he was fit, he lost his place at the Red Devils. The United boss has opted for Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez for the defense and they are expected to be in the starting XI on Sunday.
