Hazard makes his first start since January against Mallorca
In the absence of Karim Benzema, Hazard has the opportunity to shine in the Real Madrid lineup.
Carlo Ancelotti named
Eden Hazardin
Real Madrid's starting line-up for the first time since January against
Real Mallorca.
Due to his recent injury, Karim Benzema has been away from the field for a while and will not be able to play in today's match. Therefore, Ancelotti has decided to include Hazard in his composition for the first time this season and also include Dani Ceballos in the starting eleven.
Hazard was last in the starting line-up in the 2-2 draw against Elche, while Ceballos is making his third start since returning from Arsenal.
After moving to Real Madrid, Hazard could not make the expected impact on the team and was criticized a lot. The Belgian star, however, came from the bench during the next meeting with Belgium and scored the third goal, and now the Italian head coach has decided to give him another chance.
