Barcelona will try to sign Silva in winter
The Portuguese star has performed very well in recent seasons.
The Catalans made a big push for the Portuguese star in the summer and were said to have tabled an £80m bid for him to join the squad as they attempt to return the club to their glory days.
Pep Guardiola has repeatedly insisted on keeping Silva at the Etihad Stadium and he believes that the former Monaco star will play a decisive role in his team's success in the Premier League and Champions League. Silva had announced that he intended to leave City, but in the end he distanced himself from the rumors and decided to continue his presence in City.
With La Liga's salary cap rising to £490m, Barcelona have the opportunity to make a move for Silva this winter and are said to have a better chance.
