Nathan Redmond joins Besiktas from Southampton

Southampton winger Nathan Redmond is set to leave the club for a move to Turkey.

Fabrizio Romano claims that

Nathan Redmond

is set to join

Besiktas

after Southampton accepted their offer.

Fenerbahce and Galatasaray were also interested in signing him but the English player prefers to join Besiktas. Redmond reportedly will sign a one-year deal with the Turkish club.

Redmond could join

Dele Alli

at Besiktas. Former Tottenham star joined the Turkish club on loan from Everton in the summer transfer window. Ali  scored in just his second appearance for his new team on Sunday.

The 28-year-old, who has less than a year left on his contract at St Mary's, was the subject of a deadline-day bid from Premier League side Bournemouth.

Redmond joined Southampton in 2016 and scored 30 goals in 232 matches for them. He scored three goals and provided six assists last season but has fallen down the pecking order at the start of the current season though. He has only played once, in a late substitute appearance on the opening day against Tottenham.
