Atletico's Molina hails game-changer Joao Felix after Man United win

Atletico confirmed the signing of the 24-year-old right-back from Udinese for a reported €20.00m last week. The Argentine made his debut in a 1-0 friendly victory against Manchester United on Saturday and had nothing but praise for his teammate, Joao Felix after his debut.

Appearing for the first time in 73 days,

Joao Felix

was the difference between the two sides, firing an excellent goal as he sealed Atletico a 1-0 victory over Eric Ten Hag's side.

After making his debut for his new club, Nahuel Molina told

Diario AS

:

“He showed it in the time he played today. He scored a goal. It’s a privilege to have in the team. Not just him, but all of them.

Being asked if he was more comfortable in back four or

Diego Simeone

's favorite, a back five, the Argentine responded:

“It seems like it changes, but in reality, it modifies things much. A lot of the time, depending on the side, I end up playing higher or deeper, but it is practically the same movement. That is a decision for the manager according to what he sees in each match and for me I just have to do what the manager says.”

Nahuel Molina

star spent two seasons in Udinese and recorded 10 goals and 7 assists in 68 games for this team. The Argentinian fullback can play on both sides of the field and has high capabilities both in defense and attack.
