De Ketelaere's team mate hinted about his move to Milan

The Belgian star is very close to joining Milan in the summer transfer window.

Hans Vanaken,

Charles De Ketelaere

's teammate at

Club Brugge

, hinted that the Belgian star will leave for

AC Milan

in the summer.

Milan, who won Serie A last season after 11 years, are planning to strengthen their attack line for next season and De Ketelaere, who scored 18 goals for the Belgian side, is one of their most serious options.

Rossoneri sporting director Paolo Maldini is confident they will sign the 21-year-old after traveling to Belgium to hold talks, although Brugge boss Carl Hoefkens has insisted he will only let the star leave when the time is right. Now Vanaken, De Ketelaere's teammate, claimed that Brugge players are ready to leave the star of their team and also expressed confidence that Ronaldo will shine in Serie A.

He said:

"Against Milan in the Champions League could be a nice reunion.

"I haven't seen Paolo Maldini here this week, no. But we all read it too. There are no secrets.

"We all know that Milan will go to any lengths to get Charles. We're not swinging all those La Gazzetta dello Sport covers here, but we do speak some Italian to him sometimes.

"Charles is a super talent who has grown enormously here in three years. He has shown that he is ready to take the step."
