Monza eager to pen with PSG’s Icardi

Reports claim that Monza have met with Wanda Nara twice to negotiate over bringing the PSG striker back to Italian top-flight.

Mauro Icardi

established himself at

Inter

and then joined

Paris Saint-Germain

in 2019 for a fee of €50m plus bonuses.

His deal is due to reach its end in 2024 and he is not included in the club’s plans for this season. Therefore, he is eager to take up a new challenge elsewhere.

As per reports from

RMC Sport

in France, Monza have contacted Icardi’s wife and agent Wanda on two occasions to talk about a possible move.

Monza are going to have their first Serie A season and former Milan chiefs Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani are backing them.

Icardi played most of his career in Italy as he joined Sampdoria’s youth academy in 2011 and then joined Inter in 2013 on a deal worth €13m. The Argentina international met the back of the net 121 times in 2019 games in Serie A.
