Manchester City's Raheem Sterling agrees personal terms with Chelsea

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling is on the verge of joining their Premier League rival, Chelsea.

According to the English press,

Raheem Sterling

has reached an agreement with

Chelsea

over personal terms, and the agreement between Chelsea and

Manchester City

is expected in the next 24 hours.

Some reports claim that Chelsea will pay 44 million pounds plus another 10 million in add-ons to City. Sterling is at the top of Thomas Tuchel's list this summer as he comes to the final year of his deal with the Premier League title winners.

The 27-year-old joined Manchester City from Liverpool in 2015 and since then has played 339 times for City and has scored 131 goals. Sterling won four Premier League titles, four League Cups, and the FA Cup at City.

Sterling has rejected City's offer to extend his contract because a guaranteed starting spot has not always been provided. The England international started just five out of a possible 12 Champions League games last season and was unused by Pep Guardiola nine times in the Premier League last season.

Chelsea also wants to sign two center-backs this summer and Manchester City center-back Nathan Ake who is a graduate of their academy is one of Tuchel's top targets.
