Carlos Tevez will start his coaching career with Rosario
The Argentine star will soon enter a new field in football.
Tevez recently retired from football and announced that he wanted to start coaching in South America. Rosario vice-president Ricardo Carloni has confirmed that the club has agreed to Tevez's request and that he will start work soon.
He said:
“The board accepted a proposal put forward by Tevez’s staff and we are now moving forward with the negotiations.
“We will be discussing it this weekend. The proposal was approved by the board. The idea is that if all goes well, we could have him by Tuesday.”
Tevez spent the final two seasons of his football career with the Boca Juniors, winning a total of one Copa Libertadores and five league titles with the team. He started his European football career at West Ham United, then joined Manchester United, winning two La Liga titles and a Champions League title with the club, before moving to Manchester City in 2008, where he won club's first Premier League title.
