The 31-year-old player is a seasoned veteran of the German national team, having earned 58 caps and scoring 14 goals during his time with the team. His current deal with Manchester City is set to end in June 2023; however, discussions for an extension are currently taking place.
During the course of this season, he appeared in 43 competitive games for City, during which he scored 10 goals and provided six assists. However, the German daily Bild reports that he is trying to make a transfer in order to secure more consistent playing time in front of the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in

According to the source, he is dissatisfied with Pep Guardiola's path in taking the team in and would welcome a new challenge after spending the past six years in Manchester.
The Italian club Juventus has been mentioned as a possible destination for Gundogan, and they are keeping a close eye on the issue. On the other hand, Gundogan may decide to pursue his ambition of playing for Barcelona.
