Real Madrid agree Tchouameni deal with Monaco worth more than €100m

The clubs are now in the process of finalizing the paperwork and regulatory procedures in order for the 22-year-old’s transfer to be signed and officially announced.
Tchouameni recently decided to join Real Madrid, amid rival interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain,
Liverpool
, and
Manchester United
. He was a vital part of the Monaco side that finished third in Ligue 1 this season. He featured 35 times in the league, contributing three goals and two assists, and made a further 11 appearances in European competitions.
The midfielder’s impressive season has also seen him become a regular in
Didier Deschamps
’ France squads. Tchouameni made his senior international debut in September 2021 and amassed 10 caps over the course of the campaign.
The Frenchman came through the ranks at Bordeaux, making 37 first-team appearances before moving to Monaco in January of 2020. Tchouameni has made 95 appearances for Monaco in his two and a half seasons in the principality.
