Newcastle to acquire Reims’ Hugo Ekitike for €31m
Newcastle United have reached an agreement with Reims to acquire Hugo Ekitike for a deal worth €31m, as per reports from 90min.

has attracted the attention of
Newcastle Unitedfor some time, and according to reports from 90min, their interest began in the January transfer window.
The 19-year-old has made a breakthrough in
Ligue 1this season, finding the back of the net nine times and contributing three assists in 23 matches in the league. major European clubs have noticed the player but Newcastle are the favorites to land the player.
The Tynesiders have agreed with a fee of €31m (£26.4m) with
Reimsfor the star player who is eager to join St. James’ Park.
The north east club has had to compete with Bundesliga sides like Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen for his services.
Ekitike, however, will be Newcastle’s first signing under Dan Ashworth, the new sporting director, who joined the club on Monday.
