Christopher Nkunku fuels the rumors of a move to PSG

The RB Leipzig star has said that he may go back to his ex-club PSG in the summer, referring to the club as his “home”.

Christopher Nkunku

has spent four years in

Paris Saint-Germain

from 2015 to 2019, featuring in 55 matches for PSG before penning a contract for

RB Leipzig

.

Following a few seasons in Germany, Nkunku broke through this season, finding the back of the net 35 times across all competitions and receiving the Bundesliga player of the season award. Because of this form the French forward has been linked with a lot of clubs before the transfer marker.

Speaking to

L'Equipe

when on international duty with France, Nkunku added fuel to the fire, saying:

"It's flattering to have the biggest clubs in the world interested in me. But it's also flattering that Leipzig are doing everything to keep me.

"Here we are in June, in the national team, and I'm focused on this gathering [with the French national team]. The transfer window is not open, I do not focus on it.

"Afterwards, as I have always said, PSG is my home, my heart club, where I was trained. I don't close any doors. Everything is possible in football."

As per reports from 90min, PSG are keen on re-signing their academy graduate from RB Leipzig to build a stronger team.

However, that will depend on Ousmane Dembele’s destination. PSG are among the clubs interested in the Barcelona player.
