Tottenham 3-0 Arsenal: Spurs keep Champions League race alive

Tottenham won the North London derby on Thursday to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

Antonio Conte's side beat their 10 men

Arsenal

with three goals to stay in the Champions League race.

A win for Arsenal would have been enough for them to clinch a top-four finish in the

Premier League

but now Spurs has 65 points and is just one point behind Arsenal in fourth, heading into the final two games of the season.

Tottenham

won a penalty in the 22nd minute after Cedric fouled Son. Harry Kane converts the penalty to puts Tottenham ahead.

Arsenal went to 10 men after Holding receives his second yellow card for pushing Son. Just a few minutes later, Kane scored his second goal. A Son corner is nodded on towards the back post by Bentacur, where Kane was waiting. He heads it into the bottom corner.

Spurs scored their third goal at the start of the second half through Son after a pass by Kane.

Arsenal will finish with games at Newcastle United before hosting Everton on the final day. Against Newcastle, Arsenal will be without Holding and probably Gabriel who left the pitch in the second half through injury.

Tottenham will welcome Burnley on Sunday ahead of a final-day matchup at Norwich City.
