Capello criticized Guardiola after City elimination

Last night, Real Madrid made another comeback against City and reached the Champions League final.

Former

Real Madrid

coach Fabio Capello believes that City's last night defeat by

Manchester City

was another proof that Guardiola's team needs a striker.

City left for Madrid with a 4-3 win at Etihad Stadium. Guardiola's team was scored by Riyad Mahrez in the 73rd minute, but Los Blancos was scored by Rodrygo in the 90th and 91st minutes, and

Karim Benzema

scored the winning goal for Real Madrid in extra time, and Ancelotti's team reached the final. Although last night Guardiola played Gabriel Jesus on the offensive line, he played on the sidelines and Capello believes that his difference with Benzema was obvious.

He said:

"He was faced with a team that never gives up. But even Guardiola has to think of something different; you can't always play without a striker of weight.

"Ancelotti had said that he thought of playing well defensively; he did it, but he was also dangerous in attack. Vinicius was the worst on the pitch, missing two goals.

"I wouldn't talk about mea culpa from Guardiola; I can't tell him anything, he didn't do strange things."
