Icardi forced to depart Inter for fake Brozovic cheating reports

Mauro Icardi had to depart the Nerazzurri following fake reports of his wife being in a relationship with Marcelo Brozovic, according to Wanda Nara when she was having her court case against a journalist.

The incident took place in 2019 when Fabrizio Corona published it on his site, saying that Nara was having an affair with

Mauro Icardi’

s teammate

Marcelo Brozovic

.

“I never had a relationship with Marcelo Brozovic,”

Nara

said today as a witness in the court case against Corona.

“We are a traditional family and this story caused us problems, both within the family and outside. My children went to school and they were bullied, it caused problems for my husband and for me, seeing as I am his agent. Nothing in the story is true.”

Icardi departed

Inter

on September 2019 and joined

PSG

on a loan deal with an obligation to purchase at a total cost of €50m plus bonuses.

“That story started all the problems and Mauro was forced to change club. Inter really made this situation weigh on him. They told him he had to move on, he had to change agent, they took away the captain’s armband and I don’t think it was due to his performances on the pitch.

“This whole thing caused huge issues with the club and directors.”

Because of their personal history, it was so damaging as Wanda was married to Icardi’s then teammate at Sampdoria Maxi Lopez when they got together.

Icardi and Wanda live together with the extended family she had with Maxi Lopes and the ones they had together. The duo were also breaking up publicly and getting back together, on and off, on Instagram.
