AC Milan goalie responded to racist abuse on Twitter

The Milan goalkeeper has been subjected to the most severe racist insults.

AC Milan

goalkeeper

Mike Maignan

responded to the racist insults against him in recent days by posting a picture of himself.

Last night, Milan managed to gain three more points with a 1-0 victory against Cagliari and strengthen their position at the top of the table. This victory plays an important role in Rossoneri's path and increased their difference with the rivals to three points. But during the game, some fans chanted racist slogans against Maignan, to which he also tried to respond by cupping his ear.

But Maignan's response to the insulters did not end with his actions on the ground, and he reacted on social media. He posted a photo of himself with Tomori on Twitter, along with a photo of a monkey smoking money and showing his middle finger, with the caption "N.W.A", which refers to 90s rap groups.

AC Milan also reacted to the events of Cagliari's game and their statement is as follows:

"This Serie A matchday was dedicated to the stand against racism, but there's still a long road ahead and we must keep on fighting together: #KeepRacismOut"
